Information for New Students
We are happy to have you in the Executive M.B.A. program!
The program Assistant Director's role is to assist you in your journey. Our program utilizes a Concierge Services model, providing a range of benefits for you to minimize the stress involved in returning to studies. These benefits include taking care of all class enrolments for you, ordering and delivering iPad's, course materials and textbooks, and providing breakfast and lunch as well as snacks on class days. Stetson University Center at Celebration
The Center at Celebration has areas designated specifically for Executive M.B.A. students.

Additional study rooms can be reserved by contacting the Assistant Director, Wendy Lowe. Please provide the meeting date, time span and number of students in attendance. Confirmation of the room number will be sent to the requester.
Identification Cards
At Orientation, a picture will be taken for your Stetson University student identification card. This identification card will contain a specific student number (often referred to as your "800 number" or "SUID"). The program coordinator will provide your identification card to you within two weeks. This identification card acts as an access card that will grant you access to the facility from 5 a.m. to midnight, seven days a week. If you misplace your identification card, please notify the program coordinator or call the student ID office at 386-822-7782 so we can provide a replacement.
Parking Permits
A parking permit is not required at the Center in Celebration. Please feel free to park in the parking lot or along the roadside.
Parking at the DeLand campus is permitted at designated locations. A campus map of the DeLand campus is available and may be helpful to you as you navigate the campus.
Note: Executive MBA students will go to DeLand for one class meeting of FIN 503 and for Commencement.
Bookstore
The program coordinator will provide all necessary course textbooks and related materials. However, official Stetson University supplies or merchandise may be purchased at the bookstore located between Griffith Hall and the Carlton Union Building at the DeLand campus. You may also utilize the bookstore online. The bookstore's hours of operation are Monday throughFriday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The bookstore's phone number is 386-822-7160.
Computer Access and Blackboard
At Orientation, students will complete the Network Access Request form. The Information Technology Help Desk will create a username and password for your technology-related needs. This username and password is used to access the computers located on campus (including the Center in Celebration), online resources and your Stetson email account.
In addition, the help desk will grant you access to Blackboard - Stetson University's online course management system. Professors utilize Blackboard to post syllabi, assignments, articles, grades and may encourage the use of its discussion boards. Blackboard may be accessed at http://blackboard.stetson.edu.
The Center at Celebration has staff to assist with technology issues or needs. They may be reached at 321-939-7607; they are located in office 207.
If needed, the DeLand campus help desk can be contacted at 386-822-7217 or helpdesk@stetson.edu. The help desk's hours of operation are as follows: Monday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Tuesday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The help desk also has a wealth of information available on their website.
As an Executive M.B.A. student, you have access to Stetson University's duPont-Ball Library; access to the online system requires your Stetson University username and password. Once logged in, you can download articles, journal listings and course materials as desired. If you have any difficulty locating specific information, please contact the librarian at 386-747-9028.
Graduation
The program coordinator will send you the required graduation forms at the beginning of your last semester of coursework. There is a $125 graduation fee; forms and fees must be turned into the program coordinator for processing. You can also complete the form online.
Official transcripts reflecting your M.B.A. coursework and degree may only be requested through the Office of the Registrar.
Though diplomas are issued three times during the year, the Commencement ceremony is only held once per year, in May.
