Degree Completion Program | Program Requirements
Overview
The Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in general business administration offered in the Degree Completion Program requires a minimum of satisfactory completion of 31 course units (128 semester credits) with a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.00, including:
- College-level English
- College-level Mathematics
- General Education I: Six Stetson-approved course units (18-24 semester credits) from any of the following areas: creative arts, culture/belief, historical inquiry, individuals/societies and social systems, physical/natural world, or modern languages.
- General Education II: Two Stetson-approved course units (6-8 semester credits) from any of the following areas: environmental responsibility, ethical or spiritual inquiry, health/wellness, human diversity, or social justice.
- Business Foundations: Ten course units (30-40 semester credits) including all of the following: FIN307, STAT301, ATG211, ATG212, FIN311, One course unit in International Business/Culture, MGT305, MKT315, MIS350, and MGT495.
- Business Electives: Seven upper-division (300-400 level) course units (21-28 semester credits) with no more than three course units in any one business discipline and at least three course units at the 400-level.
- General Electives: At least 5 course units in business or any other Stetson University approved discipline.
Notes
- All needed business courses are available in the Degree Completion Program. It is expected that Degree Completion applicants will have completed 40-64 Stetson-approved transferable credits before admission to the University and the Degree Completion Program, and that those transferable credits meet the general education requirements for the BBA degree at Stetson University.
- Credit for all undergraduate courses is given in units; credit for all graduate courses is given in credit hours. A course unit equals 4 credits (unless otherwise indicated).
