Department of Psychology
Psychology is the most popular major at Stetson (Fall 2016 enrollments). We balance excellent teaching in small classes with hands-on learning through research experiences and clinical internships. We believe we have an exceptional program, but ultimately, the kind of education that can change your life is about people, not programs. So, what are you waiting for? Classes are only part of a complete education. We encourage our majors to take advantage of the many student research and other opportunities for learning by doing, outside the classroom.
All psychology faculty are actively involved in research. Our current faculty research page describes the studies that are going on right now and how you can get involved.
Stetson’s chapter of Psi Chi, the international honor society in psychology, won a Model Chapter Award…twice. Discover why by visiting our Psi Chi page.
