Honors Medical Education Program
Stetson University and the University of South Florida College of Medicine are partners in an honors program that offers qualified students interested in medicine guaranteed admission to medical school. A similar program for students specifically interested in osteopathic medicine has been put in place by Stetson University and the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (Bradenton). Athletic Training, Rehabilitative Studies and Movement Therapy
The Integrative Health Sciences Department at Stetson offers programs that prepare students to become certified athletic trainers and enter professional schools in other allied health fields such as physical therapy and rehabilitative services. The Department has Clinical Practicum courses which give students the hands-on experience required to enter these fields.
