Health Science Major Allows for Several Tracks of Study
   
 

Advising Tracks

The Department of Integrative Health Science is very transformable into various health care fields and practices.  General requirements for each graduate school available will be considered as you take your core classes at Stetson.  Whether you plan on attending Medical (MD programs), Doctor of Osteopathy, Chiropractic, Physical Therapy,  Physician Assistant, Occupational Therapy, Naturopathic, Nursing, Dental, or Pharmaceutical schools, you will take classes that cover your admission requirements first, and then take classes of your personal interest to back up your graduate plans.  These examples of graduate schools are only a sample of fields available.  It is our purpose to help you discover what field you are truly interested in to further your studies beyond the undergraduate level.

Integrative Health Science without Graduate School

If you do not plan on attending graduate school after your studies at Stetson University, there are also fields where you can immediately find employment.  Cardiac Rehabilitation is a progressive, preventative field that our students can find employment directly after graduation with inclusion of a weekend certification.  Also, our students work within companies that need experts in health science fields for their business operations.  Pharmaceutical sales, physical therapy assistants, and medical office administration are also interests of our recent graduates who do not apply to graduate schools.
