Greg Sapp
Greg Sapp joined the Stetson faculty in the fall of 2006 as the Hal S. Marchman Chair of Civic and Social Responsibility. Sapp is a 1988 graduate of Stetson University with a Ph.D. from the University of Virginia. As Faculty Advisor of the Bonner Scholar Program and Chair of the Community Engagement Council, Sapp's role is "to focus on preparing students to be good citizens, to help them integrate values and academics. Michele Skelton
Dr. Michele Skelton has been appointed the new Mark and Lynn Hollis Chair of Health and Wellness. A faculty member at Stetson since 1993, and chair of the Department of Integrative Health Science, Dr. Skelton will lead the University's Health and Wellness Council. Dr. Skelton is a Stetson grad with a Ph.D. from Auburn University. "Health care is moving toward integrative medicine" Skelton said, "...we are training students to be the health care leaders of the future." Matt Roberts
Matt Roberts, Associate Professor of Digital Arts at Stetson University received his Masters in Fine Arts from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Roberts is a new media artist specializing in real-time video performance and new media applications. His work has been featured nationally and internationally. Terri Witek
Terri Witek, Professor and Director of the Sullivan Creative Writing Program,teaches poetry workshops and literature classes specializing in poetry.An award-winning poet, she has published four collections of poetry: The Shipwreck Dress (2008), Carnal World (2006), Fools and Crows (2003), and Courting Couples (2000), as well as a scholarly book on Robert Lowell's revisions. Tony Abbott
Tony Abbott, Associate Professor of Geography and Environmental Science, came to Stetson in 2005 and currently chairs the interdisciplinary Environmental Science program at Stetson. In 2007-2008, Dr. Abbott led students in conducting Stetson's greenhouse gas audit as part of the American University and College President's Climate Comittment initiative. Each summer,Stetson's Latin American Studies Program leads a sponsored group of students on a mentored field experience in Latin America. This summer, Dr. Abbott led the experience to Ecuador.
