The Guide to Writing at Stetson is a convenient way to learn how to enhance and improve writing skills. Designed for faculty and staff across the College of Arts & Sciences, and ultimately for the faculty of the entire University and the College of Law, the Guide replaces the traditional, lengthy, detailed, and expensive grammar handbook of old with a compact, Stetson-specific set of pages to assist Stetson students in thinking and writing at the college level.

As part of Stetson University's continuing commitment to enhancing students' writing, thinking, and reading skills, we offer here an extensive Guide to Writing Intensive Courses for faculty purposes. Here, faculty developing WI courses will find discussion of The Writing Intensive Concept, Goals and Objectives, Guidelines, Designing the WI Course, Time Management suggestions, Key Definitions, and a FAQ for interested faculty.
