Noteworthy:  Mary Sanders Pollock teaches British literature, green studies, and gender studies. She joined the English Department in 1985 with a Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin. She is the author of two books, Elizabeth Barrett and Robert Browning: A Creative Partnership (Ashgate 2003) and Storytelling Apes: Primatology Narratives Past and Future (Penn State University Press, 2015). With Catherine Rainwater, she edited the anthology Figuring Animals, and she edited Victorian Literature and Film Adapation with Abigail Bloom. Dr. Pollock is the Nell Carlton Professor of English.
