 Patrick Coggins, Ph.D., J.D., LLD. (Hon.)
 

Dr. Patrick Coggins, the Jesse Ball duPont Chair in Education, began teaching at Stetson University in 1991.  His expertise and research focus include:

  • Multicultural Education Institute

  • HIV/AIDS in the Caribbean
  • Closing the Healthcare Gap Amongst Minorities
  • Closing the Achievement Gap
  • Using FCAT Strategies to Increase Student Performance
  • African American Curriculum

  • Using the Bible to Understand Nutrition
  • Cultural Considerations in Teaching Diverse Learners
  • Cultural Considerations in the Healthcare Clinic
