This program fosters educational renewal of educational leaders through self-directed reflection and critical analysis of the global scope of education. At the present level, the guiding philosophical perspective is that of facilitative change. Underlying this belief is a commitment to foster the candidate's ability to reflect, analyze and change the educational process for the betterment of all students.
This is a flexible program providing the student with a core of required courses and 12 hours of specialization courses. Most core courses are held on Saturdays while specialization courses may be offered on Saturdays and/or weekday nights. Please see advisor for specific program offerings.

Specialization Courses:
The student is expected to select specialization courses from English, Exceptional Student Education, Reading Education, or Educational Leadership. These courses must be approved by the student's academic advisor/ advisors in advance.

*Students seeking certification in Educational Leadership must complete 18 hours of Educational Leadership coursework in addition to the specialist core.
