Journalism Minor

To Declare
TO ENTER THE Journalism Minor, you must officially declare your intentions with the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences and with the Department of Communication Studies & Theatre Arts. In addition, program participants must select an area of emphasis, and major or minor with the appropriate department. This selection will be made after consultation with your advisor. Suggestions for an area of emphasis include Communication Studies, English, Political Science, History, Business, Latin American Studies, and Russian Studies. We will work with you if you want to emphasize other areas. Our purpose is to prepare you to write and report clearly and accurately about real issues.
