- General Biology (BY101-102)--The introductory biology courses that our majors usually take in their freshman year. These two courses cover the entire field of biology.
- Cell Biology (BY320)--The study of cellular structure and function including membrane dynamics.
- General Physiology (BY401)--The study of the principles and mechanisms of body function oriented towards human systems and cellular physiology.
- Comparative Physiology (BY432)--An examination of the mechanisms by which diverse animals perform similar functions.
