Stetson's Biology Department offers a program leading to a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in medical technology. This is a fully accredited program meeting the standards of the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences. The initial three years of the program are completed at Stetson. The fourth year is a twelve month clinical experience at an approved medical facility. Following successful completion of the fourth year of the program and upon recommendation of the school of medical technology, Stetson awards the Bachelor of Science degree.

Athletic Training, Rehabilitative Studies and Movement Therapy

The Integrative Health Sciences Department at Stetson offers programs that prepare students to become certified athletic trainers and enter professional schools in other allied health fields such as physical therapy and rehabilitative services. The Department has Clinical Practicum courses which give students the hands-on experience required to enter these fields.
