THE MEADOWS
ALUMNI HOUSE
The
Meadows Alumni House was dedicated in March 2001, honoring Gary A. Meadows
'59, '65, who retired as Associate Vice President for Alumni Relations,
following his long career as Dean of Admissions. He retired in February
2001 after 43 years of service to the University. In recent years, the
Alumni House has undergone extensive interior and exterior renovations,
and new furniture has been contributed to complete the new look. A campaign
is now under way to provide further enhancements to the Meadows Alumni
House.
Alumni
House Campaign
Stetson University is committed to providing a first-rate
facility where alumni may gather for formal and informal receptions, seminars,
and meetings.
A campaign is now
under way to enhance the Meadows
Alumni House by constructing a new pavilion on the northwest corner
of the existing building. The master plan also includes a complete landscape
redesign, including the addition of a brick wall and walkway. To date,
over $108,000 has been raised through named spaces and the brick campaign
