 Living on campus

Nearly 80 percent of Stetson University undergraduates live on our DeLand campus, making Stetson University an active, vibrant residential community. That means that almost all of the people you see in class will be living in the residence halls, playing sports, joining clubs and eating in the dining hall with you. That makes it easy to meet new people, make new friends, and feel at ease in your new home.

Students who live on campus enjoy the amenities that residence hall living offers, including kitchen facilities and TV lounges, as well as phone, cable, and computer hookups in every room. They especially enjoy the nearby Hollis Center, where they join hundreds of other students, faculty, and staff members in the lounges, game rooms, the Rinker intramural field house, weight room and fitness facility, dance studio, and pool.

Entertainment abounds in the many clubs that meet and activities that take place all over campus, like on Greek Row, where our fraternities and sororities are constantly organizing community service projects, educational programs, leadership development seminars, and of course, social events. There are so many ways to get involved, so many things to do, and so many people to meet, that we're sure you'll feel at home right away.
