HIV Appointments

Information for Appointments for Spring, 2013- On-campus HIV Screening

Appointments for On-Campus HIV Screening are optional! Typically, more students come for screening then can be seen. All students who are not seen are encouraged to look into off-campus screening. On-campus screening is a convenience provided for students. We attempt to see as many students as we can.

To sign up for an appointment:

  1. Call the appointment line at the Department of Wellness and Recreation at: 386-822-4958 and leave a voicemail message.
  1. Do not leave your name: instead, please make up a code to identify yourself (for example: "Tree"). This code will be used to verify your appointment on the day of the screening.
  2. State a phone number you are comfortable having a message left at. The message we leave for youwill simply say, "you have an appointment at the Departmentof Wellness & Recreation inthe back hallway of the HollisCenter on March 13th ---- time."
  3. State ALL the blocks of time you are available during the screening (10:30am-3:30pm) so we can try to fit you in. For example if you have class and are only available from 10am-11:20am, please say so. We will confirm your time slot with the voicemail message.
  4. Your call will be returned within two school days.
  5. Your appointment time gives you an ESTIMATED time that you will be seen. We suggest coming 10 minutes earlier if possible. We can NOT guarantee you will be seen even if you have an appointment. Scheduled appointments get priority.
  6. If anything changes or you have any questions, call: 386-822-4958

What if all appointment time's fill up?:

  • We will update this website and the voicemail message to indicate that appointments are full
  • You can still try to come from 10:30am-3:30pm during the screening tothe back hallway of theHollisCenterand we will do everything we can to squeeze you in. We make no promises that everyone will be seen.
  • All students who are not seen on March 13th are encouraged to look into off-campus screening. Click here for more information.
  • We will have another on campus screening in the fall of 2013.
