Rage Responsibly

While Rage Responsibly started as a safe tailgate party, The WELL Team has evolved the slogan into a way of living here at Stetson. Through Rage Responsibly events, we educate the campus community on safe drinking behaviors, provide individualized BAC cards and how to navigate consent while drinking.

Rage Responsibly events can take many different formats including tabling, workshops, events and tailgate. Looking to have a specific group educated on Raging Responsibly? We would be happy to help! For more information, email [email protected].

The 21st Birthday Project

The 21st Birthday Project is an initiative that encourages healthy celebration for students' 21st birthday. The WELL Team is all about raging responsibly and your birthday should be no different!

Through a collaboration with a variety of bars and restaurants in downtown DeLand, The WELL Team provides you with a variety of information to help you make safe, well-educated decisions when celebrating. During your 21st birthday month, you will receive an email wishing you a happy birthday as well as an invitation to stop by the WELL Team desk in the Hollis Center. If you choose to stop by you receive a special gift including the following:

  • A special birthday card from Wellness and Recreation and The WELL Team.
  • 21st Birthday Survival Tips and Tricks brochure
  • A personalized Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) Card
  • A 21% off coupon to a variety of bars and restaurants in downtown DeLand

The information presented in the gift is not intended to encourage a student's decision about drinking if they choose not to, nor is it intended to be a treatment tool.

If you've recently turned 21, have not received an email or special gift, and would like to receive one, please email [email protected].
