Market Day at Stetson University
About the Market Day grant
The Office of Student Development and Campus Vibrancy is proud to sponsor the Market Day grant, which allows Stetson student organizations the opportunity to send members to local or national leadership conferences. The grant is funded by the fees collected from outside merchants who participate in Market Day on campus. Not only does this help our students develop as leaders, but it also provides an opportunity for partnership between the university and local vendors.
How is the grant used?
A panel of faculty and students will choose the recipients of the grant money, which will be used to cover any transportation, lodging, conference fees and possible food voucher costs. Each grant awarded, and the amount that will be covered, will be determined on an individual case scenario depending on the conference type, distance and funding. Student organizations may apply to receive grant money during the fall and spring semesters.
