Frequently Asked Questions
Who are my FOCUS leaders?
Your FOCUS leaders are upperclass students who have gone through an intensive hiring and training process. They are quite a diverse group from all across the country, with various academic areas of interest and holding several leadership positions on campus. And they can't wait to meet you!
How do I get my parking decal, email address and ID card?
- Parking Decal - You should plan to get your decal at the Public Safety Office on Amelia Avenue within a week of arriving on campus. You will need your driver's license, Student ID, auto insurance company information and your license plate number. In 2010, the parking fee for the year was $75 and it is added directly to your student account. If you have additional questions, contact the Public Safety Office at 386-822-7300.
- Email Address - All students are issued a Stetson email address. You should plan on checking it daily, as you will receive important Stetson emails and communications from Admissions and faculty. For help with your Stetson email account, contact the Instructional Technology (IT) Help Desk at 386-822-7217 or email@example.com
- ID Card - You are able to get your Student ID card in the meal card office located in the Commons in the Carlton Union Building (CUB). You are required to carry your Student ID with you at all times, so be sure to keep track of it. The first one is free, but each replacement -- should you lose your card -- is $10. Dining Services can be reached at 386-822-8780 (asked to be connected to the meal card office).
How do I receive mail at school?
Each student living on campus will receive a campus box at the University Post Office. During FOCUS, you will have the opportunity to get your box number and combination lock code.
For packages exceeding the size limit of the box, you will receive an email from the Post Office alerting you to pick up your package that will be held at the Post Office.
