Coordinators

The coordinators' main responsibilities include:

  • Working with the coordinating staff, assistant director of First Year and Transition Programs and the assistant dean of students to create a cohesive orientation team
  • Provide oversight, support and guidance to the assistant coordinator and orientation leader staff
  • Serve as a role model for proper facilitation and communication techniques

Assistant Coordinators

The assistant coordinators' main responsibilities include:

  • Developing, creating and implementing intentional ongoing experiences for first-year students, including the creation of the FOCUS orientation schedule of events
  • Aid in the creation of a comprehensive, intentional training schedule including the development of a team of orientation leaders
