Organizations at Stetson
Stetson Univeristy has over 100 hundreds active student groups. There is something for everyone at Stetson University. Do you care about world hunger? There's a group for that! Do you want to become involved in student government? There's a group for that! Do you really want to play croquet? There's a group for that, too! The orgainzations are student run and student led. Organizations at Stetson offer each and every student the opportunity to find their inner leader, passions, beliefs, and ultimately find who they are. There are countless reasons to join an org at Stetson University. First and foremost is finding a place to have your voice heard, to express your interests and do the things you love. Joining an org at Stetson gives you the opportunity to meet new people, make new friends and experience amazing opportutnities.
Is it Difficult to Join an Org at Stetson?
Absolutely not! Most organizations accept new members year round. And don't forget about the organization fairs in the beginning of each semester where tons of organizations on campus gathers in one area to recruit new members. In many cases, joining an org is as easy as showing interest in joining!
What if There isn't an Org at Stetson That Suits My Interests?
You can start one! The Office of Student Involvement handles all requests to begin a new org on campus. It is simple to get a new Org started at Stetson; all you need is a faculty sponsor and a few of your peers who are also interested in seeing the Org being formed.
