The Coordinator's main responsibilities include working with the Coordinating Staff, Assistant Director of First Year and Transition Programs, and Assistant Dean of Students to create a cohesive Orientation team and provide oversight, support and guidance to the AC and Orientation Leader Staff. Additionally, the coordinator is to be a leader in teaching and role modeling proper facilitation and communication techniques.

The Assistant Coordinators' main responsibilities include developing, creating, and implementing intentional ongoing experiences for first year students, including the creation of the FOCUS Orientation schedule of events. Additionally, Assistant Coordinators aid in the creation of a comprehensive, intentional training schedule including the development of a team of Orientation Leaders.
