Keith Sims


Keith L. Sims, MA, LMHC joined the Stetson University Student Counseling Services team in March 2015. Keith is a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist trained under Dr. Robert Bollet at the Center for Counseling and Consulting (CCC) in Casselberry, Florida. His past counseling experience includes Florida Hospital, The Center for Drug Free Living, and private practice at CCC. Keith has extensive experience working with individuals battling medical illness/injury and/or physical disability, as well as athletes and performers who may be experiencing distress as a result of injury, anxiety, pressure to perform, body image issues, and/or difficulty coping with success or failure. The cornerstone of Keith’s practice is an individualized acceptance process that leads to an uncovering of one’s true self. He states, “Sometimes, backward is the only way forward.”
