Kristine Proctor

Kristine Proctor, MSW, joined the Stetson University Student Counseling Services in July of 2017. In her experience as a school social worker, non-profit director, organizational consultant and private practitioner, Kristine has worked with a broad range of mental health concerns including trauma, grief and loss, adjustment and transition, anxiety, depression, and anger and stress management. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a highly effective therapeutic process where one looks at negative experiences with the whole brain rather than just the emotional part to develop solutions and change one’s life script. Kristine’s approach is built on client strengths. One of her favorite phrases is, “Find yourself, and BE that.”
