Donor-funded endowed and restricted scholarships provide important financial assistance to a diverse group of talented students at Stetson University. We are grateful to you for establishing these funds and for giving students the additional resources they need to pursue their education.

S. Sammy and Carolyn Michels Cacciatore Scholarship
Scholarships for students in the College of Arts & Sciences who are from economically challenged families and/or students who are working to put themselves through college. First preference is given to students who are the first in their family to attend college and additionally to students who financially contribute to their Stetson education. Recipients are selected with a demographic makeup that reflects Stetson's commitment to a community that is inclusive and rich in diversity.

Need-based scholarships for undergraduate students in the School of Business Administration.

Doyle and Mildred Carlton Scholarship
Merit-based scholarships with preference given to students with financial need who are committed to Christian ideals as demonstrated by a strong religious commitment and leadership achievement in churches and other religious organizations.

Nestor M. and Donna Hunt de Armas Scholarship
Scholarships for students with financial need that reinforce the University's commitment to values and social responsibility as a way of life and to academic rigor in a liberal arts tradition. Awards are aligned with the Bonner Scholarship award criteria. This scholarship also supports second-year students at the Stetson University College of Law based on public or pro bono service.

Art and Sherri Drogue Scholarship
Scholarships for promising students with financial need who have demonstrated a high standard of moral character and have participated in activities that reflect a sense of social responsibility in alignment with the Bonner Scholarship award criteria. Scholarships are awarded to students committed to social justice and service.

Alfred I. duPont Foundation Scholarship
Merit-based scholarships for outstanding students with preference given to students majoring in health-care related fields, or majors relating to patient education, or the medical and social problems associated with children and the elderly.

J. Ollie Edmunds Distinguished Scholarship Program
Two merit-based scholarships per year paying full tuition, room, board, books, and fees for students who exhibit top academic and personal leadership, strong character, integrity and self-motivation.

Dolly and Homer Hand Scholarship
Scholarships awarded annually based upon criteria deemed to be the greatest priority by the President and the Vice President for Enrollment Management. Some or all of the awards may be aligned with the Bonner Scholarship award criteria.

Mark and Lynn Hollis Scholarship
Scholarships for students who have a lot of heart and a positive attitude, but may have struggled with GPA and SAT scores.

Merit-based scholarships for rising seniors in the School of Business Administration or College of Arts & Sciences with a minimum 3.2 GPA and majoring in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or Mathematics.

Bank of America Scholarship
Need-based scholarships for students from low- to moderate-income families with preference given to students majoring in Education.

W. P. Bateman Scholarship
Scholarships for undergraduates who would otherwise be unable to attend college.

Betty Batson Bell Scholarship
Scholarships based on need and merit with preference given to students from Palm Beach County and students majoring in the Department of Teacher Education or the Pre-Law program.

Beta Gamma Sigma Scholarship
Scholarships for students selected by the Beta Gamma Sigma chapter at Stetson.

Bonner Scholarship Program
Four-year community service scholarships to students who have high financial need and a commitment to service who are part of the Bonner Program at Stetson University. The scholarship is designed to heighten the overall education a Bonner Scholar receives by asking students to engage in ongoing service work and helping them to develop the tools and the knowledge necessary to make that work meaningful and lasting.

Bowling Family Scholarship
Scholarships for graduates from Christopher Columbus High School in Miami, Fla., who demonstrate a high standard of moral character and are involved in activities of social responsibility.

Scott and Ann Bruin Scholarship
Scholarships for students majoring in Environmental Studies based on financial need and academic merit. Recipients must maintain a 3.0 grade point average.

Stetson Business School Foundation Scholarship
Need-based scholarships in the School of Business Administration.

Chatlos Foundation First Generation Scholarship
Scholarships for talented and financially needy first-generation college students.

Nelson and Judy Clemmens Scholarship
Scholarships for students majoring in the School of Business Administration with preference given to students from outside the state of Florida.

Clifton Family Scholarship
Scholarships for transfer students from Florida community colleges. Preference is given (in priority order) to transfers from Daytona State College, Valencia Community College, and Seminole Community College. Scholars should be majoring in the College of Arts & Sciences, with preference given to students who plan to or are majoring in American Studies. In priority order, students majoring in other fields, such as History, Political Science or Education, may also be considered if they minor in or agree to take a class in American Studies while at Stetson. Preference is also given to well-rounded students who participated in extracurricular and leadership activities in high school and/or community college, and who commit to being involved while at Stetson. Awards are staggered so that one junior and one senior receive the scholarship each year.

Need-based scholarships for students in the College of Arts & Sciences with preference given to majors in Mathematics.

R. Alan Hudgins Memorial Endowed Scholarship
Need-based scholarships for junior or senior students who would not otherwise be able to attend Stetson due to lack of sufficient financial resources who are majoring in History or in the School of Business Administration and have demonstrated leadership.

Hazel Schwall Hutchins and Victor Hutchins Endowed Scholarship
Loans and/or scholarships for needy and deserving students.

Marshall E. Rinker, Sr. Foundation Endowed Scholarship
Merit-based scholarships for Christian students with demonstrated religious leadership, high moral character and a sense of social responsibility.

David and Leighan Rinker Endowed Scholarship
Merit-based scholarships to assist academically qualified and leadership oriented students. Awards are made to first-year students who plan to study in any of the schools or colleges on the DeLand campus. Scholarship recipients will be chosen on the basis of their anticipated enhancement of the religious and social life of students. Recipients will be students with high moral character, strong Christian commitment, demonstrated leadership achievement in churches and other religious organizations, and prior commitment to community service and continued involvement at Stetson.

Financial assistance for a student to assist in the support services for the Howard Thurman Program. The purpose of the scholarship is to expose students who may not know about Howard Thurman's legacy to his work in hopes that they might play a role in the future in helping to find solutions to social, religious and ethnic problems.

Need-based scholarships for graduates of the International Baccalaureate Program at Spruce Creek High School in Port Orange, Fla.

Progress Energy Scholarship
Need-based scholarships for juniors and seniors who major in science or math, with first preference given to Environmental Science students. Preference is also given to students from Progress Energy's Florida service area with a focus on Central Florida students.

Marge Ricker Honorary Softball Scholarship
Need-based scholarships for members of the Women's Softball team.

Florida North Central Chapter of RIMS Scholarship
Merit-based scholarship for Florida residents who are part- or full-time students enrolled in classes in Risk and/or Insurance Management and are interested in pursuing a career in this field.

Scholarships established by the Board of Trustees.

EverBank Scholarship
Scholarships for low- to moderate-income students from Duval County who are actively involved in community service. Some or all of the awards may be aligned with the Bonner Scholarship award criteria.

Forest Community Church Scholarship
Need-based scholarships for students with an interest in Christian ministry or involved in campus religious organizations.

Boulevard Tire Center Endowed Scholarship
Scholarships for hardworking Stetson students from a West Volusia high school who may have struggled with academics and who have significant financial need. Preference is given to graduates of DeLand High School, or students interested in majoring in the School of Business Administration. Between their junior and senior year, current scholars have the option to do a summer internship at Boulevard Tire Center.

Bozzuto's Inc. Endowed Scholarship
Scholarships for academically talented and highly motivated students. First preference is given to graduates of Cheshire Academy in Cheshire, Conn. Second preference is given to children of independent grocery store owners.

Carl W. Bradbury Memorial Endowed Scholarship
Need-based scholarships with preference given to Accounting majors in the School of Business Administration who were involved in high school community service and/or sports.

Rob Brady Memorial Scholarship
Need-based scholarships for successful students in the Humanities with preference given to Philosophy majors or minors and/or students who are the first in their families to attend college.

Scholarships for students in the School of Music who have performing talent and financial need and who actively participate in the musical life of Stetson and the community.

Scholarships for students in the School of Business Administration with preference given to junior or senior females with financial need who major in Business or Finance.

Need-based scholarships for students majoring in the natural sciences with plans to continue on to medical school or to enter the bio-medical field.

Scholarships for students majoring in the Department of Teacher Education who are graduates of a Florida high school; meet all of the entrance requirements of Stetson; have a minimum cumulative high school GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale); are active Christians, Catholics or Protestants; and are citizens of the United States.

Scholarships for students studying abroad in Spain or France to cover expenses associated with the study abroad program such as travel, room, and board. Scholarship awards will be made to students majoring in Spanish or French, with preference to students with financial need.
