Stewardship is a department of the Office of Development under the University Relations Division at Stetson. In addition to scholarships, Stewardship is also involved with donors to endowed chairs, lecture series, academic programs, and awards.
We also show donors the impact of their gifts by connecting them with those who benefit directly from their generosity. Likewise, we strive to create a culture of philanthropy and a sense of the Stetson family for current students.
What does Stewardship do for donors?
- Thanks donors for gifts

What is a scholarship?
Over a rift of
Alternate universes
It is a tightrope.
After a shipwreck -
Huge tumulus crests of waves,
It's a glimpse of shore.
Through smoggy traffic
It is the grasp of a hand
Holding securely.
Under liquid pelts
of relentless round raindrops
It is an awning.
It's a solid shield
Against the slings and arrows
Of trepidation.
It's the quiet voice at
the edge of the world saying
We believe in you.
