Stewardship is a department of the Office of Development under the University Relations Division at Stetson. In addition to scholarships, Stewardship is also involved with donors to endowed chairs, lecture series, academic programs, and awards.
We also show donors the impact of their gifts by connecting them with those who benefit directly from their generosity. Likewise, we strive to create a culture of philanthropy and a sense of the Stetson family for current students.

"Any scholarship I receive inspires me to perform better in my classes, but donor scholarships give a personal touch to push farther. It is almost as if there is a face to the check and a specific voice saying 'You can do it! Here’s a little help'"
Jessica Bosma, Lettie P. Whitehead Foundation Scholar and Progress Energy Foundation Scholar
"No one gets from Point A to point B alone and the donor of this scholarship has made it more possible for me to continue my great education here at Stetson. In that regard I say thanks for their help in jumping this hurdle of my life!"
Angelo Parkinson, Neil and Nellie MacMillian Scholar
"Scholarships inspire me because they enable students like me to pursue their goals without having to worry about money. It also shows me that the generosity of others truly has an impact on the world and it perpetuates a cycle of goodness that I hope to continue and give as a gift to aspiring students."
Michelle Vergara, Lettie P. Whitehead Foundation Scholar
