How to Register for Spring 2012
Registration instructions for students with 0-26 earned credit hours (does not include currently enrolled credits)
There are four main steps in registration:
- Review your degree audit. To access your degree audit log onto my.stetson.edu and click on the Degree Audit link. The Degree Audit provides important information regarding, for example, earned credits, remaining gen-ed and major requirements, etc. For more information about Degree Audit and a link to a video tutorial, please visit http://www.stetson.edu/administration/it/training/daudit.php.
- Meet with your academic advisor. You can locate the name of your academic advisor on your Degree Audit. Academic advising is an essential part of the course registration process. Your advisor will help you map out a balanced course schedule and provide you with your Registration Number. This number is required to enter the Registration area of my.stetson.edu. It is your responsibility to make an appointment with your academic advisor.
- Ensure all bills are paid and registration holds removed. If your audit indicates you have a registration hold, (audit reflects a registration hold marked in red in the Student View area of the audit) you can call the Registrar's office (822-7140) to determine what type of hold you have. It is your responsibility to determine your eligibility to register for classes.
- Register for classes via my.stetson.edu at your assigned time. Find your specific registration time at this link: time of registration.
