Sept. 30, 7 p.m. - "Oscar Bluemner: The Making of an American Modernist Painter" by Dr. Roberta Smith Favis, Stetson professor of Art History and curator of Stetson's Vera Bluemner Kouba Collection. Located in Room 25 of the Instructional Media Center of Stetson's duPont-Ball Library, 134 E. Minnesota Ave. (reached from the courtyard on the north side of the library).

Oct. 14, 7 p.m. - "Alfred Stieglitz: Prophet of Modernism" by Dr. James Murphy, adjunct professor of Art History at Stetson. Located in Room 25 of the Instructional Media Center.

Nov. 3, 7 p.m. - "Colored Expression Instead of Impression: Oscar Bluemner and German Modernism," by Dr. Patricia McDonnell, director of the Ulrich Museum of Art, Wichita, Kan., and author of Painting Berlin Stories: Marsden Hartley, Oscar Bluemner and the First American Avant-Garde in Expressionist Berlin. Located in Rinker Auditorium of the Lynn Business Center, 345 N. Woodland Blvd.
