Flyer Elimination Resolution
Stetson University SGA have passed the "Flyer Elimination Resolution" on Febuary 18th, 2009. In hopes to move torward paperless mailings through the campus email system for all non academic flyers.
As of immediately The Stetson University Post Office will no longer take flyers unless related to academic.
Whereas currently, students recycle or throw away the flyers within moments of receiving them
Whereas the cost of production of the flyers to the university can be excessive
Whereas moving toward paperless flyer distribution would be in accordance with the University's Green Initiative an Value of Environmental Responsibility
Whereas paperless distribution of approximately two flyers per week to 2,200 students could save 700 pounds of paper per year
