Stetson University encourages every adult to have a will, which is considered the cornerstone of all estate planning. Bequests to Stetson University can be made by donors of all ages and also allow you to provide for your family, friends, and charities in the way in which you want to be remembered.
Individuals who die without a will allow the state to determine their heirs, guardians for their minor children, the estate executor, and taxes that will be owed.
One of the easiest ways to make a Planned Gift to Stetson is by including a provision in your will or living trust. You can direct your bequest to a particular program or department, or leave it for the general support of the university.
