The Creation Station

Learning Technologies (formerly Media Services) provides Stetson students and faculty with the opportunity to edit their multimedia projects in our Creation Station. Students must set up an appointment for use of the Creation Station. Additional editing time may be scheduled through more appointments.

  • Students must call or visit to set up an appointment for use of the Creation Station; students may schedule any additional editing time by simply making another appointment
  • The Creation Station uses iMac computers with iMovie editing software, to help students produce high quality multimedia projects for their classes; they are also equipped with iPhoto, iTunes, Snapz Pro X, GarageBand, and iDVD among other software
  • Plan to use approximately 1 hour of editing time for each minute of your completed movie
In addition there are 2 Dell PCs equipped with flatbed scanners which can be used to digitize images and to convert text using Optical Character Recognition (OCR). These computers both have Photoshop Elements 6, and ABBYscann OCR software.
