Learning Technologies provides Stetson University faculty and students with the opportunity to edit their multimedia projects at our Creation Station. Students must set up an appointment for use of the Creation Station. Additional editing time may be scheduled through more appointments.
- Students must call or visit to set up an appointment for use of the Creation Station; students may schedule any additional editing time by simply making another appointment.
- The Creation Station uses iMac computers with iMovie editing software to help students produce high quality multimedia projects for their classes; these computers are also equipped with iPhoto, iTunes, Snapz Pro X, GarageBand and iDVD, among other software titles.
- Plan to use approximately one hour of editing time for each minute of your completed movie.
In addition there is one Windows-based desktop computer equipped with a flatbed scanner that can be used to digitize images and to convert text using Optical Character Recognition (OCR). This computer has Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 and ABBYscann OCR software.
