Equipment
Stetson students may check out video or audio recording equipment for their academic projects or assignments by contacting Learning Technologies (formerly Media Services) at 386-822-7182. Our office is located in the duPont-Ball Library building, but you cannot access the office from the library; enter through the Nemec Courtyard on the north side of the building. An equipment reservation must be made twenty-four hours prior to checkout.
Students are able to check out equipment for a 24 hour period Monday through Friday. during office hours. If additional time is needed, please call to see if the check-out can be extended (depending on other students' needs). Faculty may also reserve video or audio recording equipment for classroom use or other academic purposes. This must also be done 24 hours in advance. Campus organizations are supported by SWAT (Students With Awesome Technology) for equipment checkout, (at least seven days advance notice required).
The following equipment is available to students for checkout:
- Video camcorders
- Tripods
- Digital voice recorders
- Still cameras
Projection equipment is available through the I.T. Helpdesk in the Lynn Business Center, at 386-822-7127.
