For Faculty...
Blackboard Learn is Stetson's learning management system that helps professors manage classes, deliver quality feedback, and deliver the best possible learning experience. Blackboard can be used on most computers and devices, and requires an Internet connection. This quick guide with help you get started with Blackboard, and quickly get up to speed.
If you are an instructor new to Blackboard, or want face-to-face assistance, please cal or visit the office of Learning Technology. We're here to assist.
How to log in to Stetson's Blackboard system
- Visit the Blackboard site at http://blackboard.stetson.edu or the "Quick Link" on Stetson's Intranet
- Type your Stetson user name, the same one that you use for your other Stetson applications
- Type your password, the same one you use for your other Stetson applications
Understanding Blackboard
The links on the right side provide access to video modules than can help you learn to use Blackboard effectively. These modules are organized into four parts:

- Assisting Learners
We suggest you begin with the "Students" section, as it addresses the basics, and provides perspective on the students' experiences.
Additional Resources
Stetson maintains a number of helpful resources, and provides individual support for our instructors. Contact our office (information on the left side of this page) with your questions. We maintain a series of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) and video series with accompanying PDF documents of a Blackboard Grade Center Workshop. Additionally, Stetson subscribes to Atomic Learning, which has additional videos on Instructor Training, Grade Center, and advanced Blackboard skills.

Global Navigation and My Blackboard This movie provides a student view of global navigation and My Blackboard. All academic information is organized in one place, providing a consistent quick and easy way to find everything.
Your Course Environment This movie orients instructors to Blackboard's management tools.
Uploading Files to Your Course Quickly add supporting documents and required reading to your course.
Creating and Using Statistics Blackboard can keep statistics on many items, and provide you with helpful tools to get the best use.
