Media Services provides Stetson students and faculty with the opportunity to edit their multimedia projects in the Creation Station. Students must set up an appointment for use of the Creation Station. Editing appointments can be made for one hour per day and may schedule any additional editing time by simply making more appointments.

  • The Creation Station is located across the hall from Media Services.
  • Students must fill out an editing request form and set up an appointment for use of the Creation Station. Students may schedule any additional editing time by simply making another appointment.
  • The Creation Station boasts new iMac computers with iMovie editing software, to help students produce high quality multimedia projects for their classes. They are also equipped with iPhoto, iTunes, Snapz Pro X, GarageBand, and iDVD among other softwares.
  • Please allow approximately 1 hour of editing time per minute of completed movie, after importing.
  • See the iMovie editing tutorial here.

In addition there are 2 high-end Dell PCs equipped with flatbed scanners which can be used to digitize images and to convert text using OCR. These computers both have Photoshop Elements 6, and ABBYscann an Optical Character Recognition.
