The Office of Grants, Sponsored Research and Strategic Initiatives is available to help faculty, staff and students pursue grant opportunities. As the university's hub for grant opportunities, our services include:
- Research for funding resources
- Grant team facilitation
- Grant program officer liaison
- Review and/or editing of proposals
- Grant submission

We can assist you with all areas of your grant proposal, including:
- Researching and identifying funding opportunities
- Developing and reviewing proposals
- Interpreting guidelines
- Contacting program officers
- Establishing relationships with grant-making organizations
The Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee is responsible for establishing and enforcing procedures for guidelines and application procedures for studies that use live vertebrate animals.
The Research Guidelines for Vertebrate Animal Use cover submitting research proposals involving some forms of living animals in experimentation and information on the university committee overseeing these studies.
