As an alumna, support from past donors made it possible for me to attend Stetson on a full academic scholarship and to have access to great faculty and library resources during those years as a student. Recognizing our debt to the university, many of us who benefited from the generosity of past donors have now become donors ourselves to ensure that current and future students also will have access to the first-rate education Stetson provides.
Stetson faculty and staff help make Stetson University a wonderful place in which to study, work, and enjoy fellowship. They are committed to the success of Stetson’s students, the success of their respective departments, the success of their fellow colleagues, and the success of this great University.
The faculty is committed to teaching and leading students to the path of greatness. It is their mentoring and professionalism that allows graduates to live great lives in a career that they love. The passion that faculty members share for teaching shows in each and every class. Where else can a student be mentored by their professor and be known on a first-name basis? Stetson is that kind of community. Faculty members who give money to their department for various reasons should be aware that such an occurrence is a gift and should be documented as such. If you are a faculty member who gives to your own department, please contact Development at (386) 822-8874 for more details. You should be recognized as a donor!
The staff is committed to customer service and acting as a support system to students. Many times administrators and staff members are surrogate siblings and parents and help students reach their goals by simply being there when needed. Each and every employee makes a difference in a student’s life. Your continued support and participation in the Annual Fund will help to make a difference to a student who otherwise would not be able to attend such a prestigious school. Please consider giving a gift of any kind to the Annual Fund.
If you would like to give to Stetson University, you can give online now, or submit a Payroll Deduction Form. Contact the Office of Development at (386) 822-7455 for more details.
