Jessica Price, Assistant Director
Jessica is the Assistant Director of the Cross-Cultural Center. She obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. After some traveling, she went on to earn her Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of South Florida. As the Assistant Director of the TriC, she love learning about different cultures and never misses the chance to engage with others in conversation. Her favorite part of working in the TriC is the students she works with every day. She learns just as much from them as she teaches, and she loves being a part of such a pivotal piece of Stetson University.
Jelissa Conway, Graduate Assistant
Jelissa Conway is the Graduate Assistant for the Cross-Cultural Center. This is her third and final year in the position as well as her fourth and final year in the Counselor Education Graduate Program where she is working towards her Master’s in Marriage, Family, and Couples Counseling. She is also currently interning at the Children’s Advocacy Center as a counseling intern working with children who have survived abuse and trauma as well as their non-offending caretakers. Jelissa received her BA in Sociology from Claflin University in South Carolina where she where she was a member of the Alice Carson Tisdale Honors College as well as Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Jelissa is an adamant advocate for those populations who are misunderstood and largely generalized, including victimized children who act out their negative feelings in ways seen as abnormal in society and marginalized and oppressed groups. Jelissa enjoys reading about current events that affect African-Americans, women, and children; reading, listening to music, having discussions, and listening to those in need.
Daisy Mora, Public Relations Specialist
Daisy is the current Public Relations Specialist for the Cross-Cultural Center. She's currently a junior at Stetson, pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry with a Religious Studies minor. Gateway High School is her alma mater and completed the International Baccauleureate Program while there. While in High School, she was a part of the Lady Panther Varsity Volleyball team from 2005-2009. Apart from the Tri-C, she coaches for a local volleyball club, Power Volleyball Academy, where she helps young girls in the area have an opportunity to play in the face of limited funding for middle school and freshman sports. She's also an active member of the Gamma Chi Chapter of Alpha Chi Omega, living up to the motto "Let us Seek the Heights."
Bria Parrish, TriC Manager
Bria is the main person that keeps the TriC clean and organized. She is always in the TriC either working or spending time with her fellow Hatters discussing the latest issues.
