Yolany Gonell, Assistant Director
Yolany Gonell joined Stetson Univeristy WORLD WISE Team September 2012 as the Assistant Director of Intercultural Initiatives and the Cross-Cultural Center. Yolany has over 7 years of progressive administration experience in higher education providing services and support that emphasize student centered learning and diversity education; experience developing partnerships with multiple community agencies; and and has been instrumental in the coordination of multiple large scale events such as Diversity Week, Native American Heritage Expo, TRANSaction Day of dialogue around gender roles, expression, and identity, and Project C.A.R.E. (Commitment to African American Retention in Education). Yolany holds a Masters in Social Work from the University at Buffalo in New York and is committed to social justice and empowering youth.
Johnny Tseng, Graduate Assistant
Johnny Tseng is the Graduate Assistant for the Cross-Cultural Center.
Daisy Mora, Public Relations Specialist
Daisy is the current Public Relations Specialist for the Cross-Cultural Center. She's currently a senior at Stetson, pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry with a Religious Studies minor. Gateway High School is her alma mater and completed the International Baccauleureate Program while there. While in High School, she was a part of the Lady Panther Varsity Volleyball team from 2005-2009. Apart from the Tri-C, she also works at a local restaurant in Downtown Deland, De La Vega, as a server. She's also an active member of the Gamma Chi Chapter of Alpha Chi Omega, living up to the motto "Let us Seek the Heights." Her responsibilities as the Public Relations Specialist lie in promoting upcoming events, social media, and webmaster.
Bria Parrish, Tri-C Manager
Bria is currently a Sophomore exploring her passion through Steston's Discovery program and is a member of the Crew team. As the TRI-C manager, Bria is responsible for reaching out to the Multicultural Student organizations and serving as a liasion between the student groups and the Multicultural Student Council. She helps with program coordination, announcments, and assessment.
