Leadership West Volusia 2013 Schedule

Leadership West Volusia is a twelve-week program beginning in February and ending in May. Sessions are scheduled on a weekly basis, and usually occur in the morning. The program will open with an orientation reception and then followed by an out-of-town weekend retreat devoted to personal leadership development. Classes meet at various locations around West Volusia with on-site visits to many of the areas being studied. Examples of topics include the following:

History and Development of the Area
Criminal Justice System
Local and State Government
Educational System
Leadership Development
Healthcare
Economic Development
Current and Projected Issues

Leadership West Volusia will conclude with a graduation and recognition ceremony on Wednesday, May 22, 2013.
