The fifth annual Green Symposium The Green Edge will be held on April 26, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Lynn Business Center of Stetson University, DeLand. The symposium is a partnership of Volusia County, Stetson University, and the City of DeLand.
Symposium sessions will focus on new opportunities in sustainability, energy use and conservation, water strategies, natural resource management, and alternative transportation. The event will also include an exhibition of products and services. The symposium sessions are focused towards a wide range of professionals and practitioners including business entrepreneurs, property stewards, land-use planners, engineers, architects, civil engineers, solid-waste professionals, transportation experts, energy professionals, and government officials. Continuing education credits will be available in select fields including the American Planning Association's Professional (AICP) credits.
The Green symposium has special opportunities for your company to support this worthwhile, educational event and, subsequently, increase your visibility in the community. The Green Symposium provides a venue for you to promote your business to other businesses, organizations, public agencies, and the public who are actively engaged in identifying and implementing green practices. Four sponsorship levels are available:
