Fundamentals of Networking - CompTIA Network+
This course covers topics to include network technologies, installation and configuration, media and topologies, management, and security. Students may obtain positions after becoming certified that include network administrator, network technician, network installer, help desk technician and IT cable installer. Companies such as Dell, HP, Ricoh, Sharp and Xerox recommend or require CompTIA Network+ for their networking technicians. It is a technical prerequisite option for IT technicians seeking to join the Apple Consultants Network, and is recognized by the U.S Department of Defense. Upon completion of our program students will be able to describe the features and functions of networking components, and will possess the knowledge and skills needed to install, configure and troubleshoot basic networking hardware, protocols, and services. Our program enables our student to display the technical ability in the areas of media and topologies, protocols and standards, network implementation, and network support. It will also cover newer technologies such as wireless networking and gigbit ethernet.
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA®)
Provides students with the ability to install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot medium-size route and switched networks, including implementation and verification of connections to remote sites in a WAN. CCNA curriculum includes basic mitigation of security threats, introduction to wireless networking concepts and terminology, and performance-based skills. Our curriculum also includes (but is not limited to) the use of these protocols: IP, Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), Serial Line Interface Protocol Frame Relay, Routing Information Protocol Version 2 (RIPv2),VLANs, Ethernet, access control lists (ACLs). Cisco is taught with simulation software as well as a hands on lab with live equipment.

MICROSOFT MCITP: Server Administrator 2008
Our Server Administrator program will enable the student to demonstrate leadership and problem-solving skills in working with Windows Server 2008. Server Administrators are recognized among their peers and managers as leaders in the day-to-day operations management of Windows Server 2008.
Students will learn how to demonstrate and communicate their ability to take system-wide ownership of Windows Server 2008 administration and increase an organization's return on technology investment by earning the MCITP: Server Administrator certification. Students attend Active Directory, Network Infrastructure and Server 2008 as part of the Upon successful completion of this course, students will possess the ability to design, evaluate, maintain and troubleshoot Windows Server 2008 utilizing the most current technologies.
Our program teaches day to day management of the server operating system, file structure, and directory services. Students learn software distribution and updates, monitoring servers and tier 2 troubleshooting support. Our program provides the knowledge of how to support engineering and change management projects, build and configure servers, implement auditing policies and perform scheduled vulnerability assessment scans, monitor logs for firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
