Earning the COMPTia Network+ certification demonstrates that a candidate can describe the features and functions of networking components, and possesses the knowledge and skills needed to install, configure and troubleshoot basic networking hardware, protocols, and services. The exam tests technical ability in the areas of media and topologies, protocols and standards, network implementation, and network support. It will also cover newer technologies such as wireless networking and gigbit ethernet.
Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) administers network and systems environments based on the Microsoft Windows® platforms. Specializations include MCSA: Messaging and MCSA:Security. The MCSA Server 2003 course provides the knowledge to manage and support Windows Server 2003 and Windows 2000 network operating systems.
Security+ The exam covers industry-wide topics, including communication security, infrastructure security, cryptography, access control, authentication, external attack and operational and organization security. CompTIA Security+ is taught at colleges, universities and commercial training centers around the globe. There are over 19,000 CompTIA Security+ certified professionals worldwide. CompTIA Security+ is an elective or prerequisite to advanced security certifications. The objectives of CompTIA Security+ were derived through input from industry, government and academia, a job task analysis, a survey of more than 1,100 subject matter experts.
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) provides students with the knowledge of how to design and implement an infrastructure solution based on the Windows platform and Microsoft Server System software. Specializations include MCSE: Messaging and MCSE: Security. This program will prepare the student sot successfully pass the MCSE certification exams.
Certified Ethical Hacker: This class will immerse the students into an interactive environment where they will be shown how to scan, test, hack and secure their own systems. The lab intensive environment gives each student in-depth knowledge and practical experience with the current essential security systems. Students will begin by understanding how perimeter defenses work and then be lead into scanning and attacking their own networks, no real network is harmed. Students then learn how intruders escalate privileges and what steps can be taken to secure a system. Students will also learn about Intrusion Detection, Policy Creation, Social Engineering, DDoS Attacks, Buffer Overflows and Virus Creation. This course also prepares you for EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker exam 312-50.
