At Disney-MGM Studios discover aspects of the history, creativity, and innovation behind the Disney animation process and see how technology supports storytelling in today's visual media. Learn of animal behavior, social structure and survival with a visit to Animal Kingdom. Explore the American Story with visits to Frontierland, The Hall of Presidents and Splash Mountain. In the Magic Kingdom® become a Theme Park scientist as you apply scientific methods to explore the physics of sound, light, and magnetism.

From The Surf To The Sky:
Exploring Florida's Space Coast

Don't be "spaced out" this summer! Come with us to discover wonders of Florida's beautiful Space Coast as we explore famous and hidden treasures. Learn about America's space program at the amazing Kennedy Space Center, follow the history of US space missions, and visit the Astronaut Hall of Fame. Get into the environment and sensitive ecological areas during an airboat field trip on the St. Johns River and pontoon boat field trip cruising down the Banana River. During hands-on encounters at the Brevard Zoo, learn about the challenges of wildlife conservation in our era of global warming. Topping it off, take surfing lessons at Florida's largest and most experienced surfing instruction school - where the instructors will have you up on a board before you know it. Instruction includes water safety, surfing etiquette, marine life awareness and basic techniques of paddling and standing, first in the classroom, then in the water on a soft surfboard. A great summer learning adventure for grandparents and grandchildren alike!

Pirate Treasures, Sailing Ships,Sand Castles: Summer in St. Augustine

The city is your classroom as you re-live the life of early explorers, missionaries and settlers as you visit an authentic Spanish Village. Walk the Fountain of Youth, St. Augustine Lighthouse, and the new Pirate’s Museum and take part in Pirate Anne Bonney’s Treasure Hunt but stay on your toes during our famous Ghost Walk. Enjoy maritime history as you visit Ft. Castillo de San Marcos and sail on a real Pirate’s ship to live the Pirate’s life. Take an Eco-Tour walk on the beach and learn to build a sand castle with a local artist while discovering the fascinating history and culture of the nation's oldest city from local re-enactors in period attire. Enjoy some meals at local eateries. You never knew history could be so much fun!

Intergenerational Harry Potter: Explore the Wizarding World

Go with your grandchild inside the new “Wizarding World of Harry Potter” at Universal Orlando for an immersion in imagination. Meet magical challenges and venture with experts into incredible recreations of Hogwarts Castle, Dumbledore’s
office, Gryffindor, Hagrid’s Hut, Hogsmeade and more — all made in collaboration with movie-set designers and author J.K. Rowling. Soar through the air on a “flight” with Harry, Ron and Hermione, dodge the attacks of a dragon and the Whomping Willow, and even take part in a Quidditch match. Combine your total immersion in Harry’s world with in-depth background lectures that help reveal the major themes, hidden meanings and parallels with “muggle” history and myth found throughout the series of books.
