The Student Conduct Board

The Stetson University Student Conduct Board has the authority to hear cases involving alleged violations of the Stetson University Student Code of Community Standards. A University Hearing Board is held in cases where the alleged student may be in violation of a policy, separated from Stetson University either through disciplinary suspension or expulsion, or when an accused student requests such a hearing. The Student Conduct Board is composed of fifteen (15) students, of which five (5) students, at a time, will hear an assigned case.

Student Conduct Board members/officers/representatives are responsible for providing a fair an unbiased process to address issues of student conduct. These students work with faculty, Student Government and other key members of the university community to improve awareness of values based behaviors and increase student learning.

During hearings, the Student Conduct Board will follow all operational guidelines and seek support and guidance from the Student Conduct Board Advisor when appropriate.
