Arthur DeFilippo, Residential Life Coordinator (RLC)

Arthur DeFilippo is responsible for the overall management and day to day operations of the area listed above. This includes supervision of the Resident Assistant (RA) and Head Resident (HR) staff, maintaining an area consistent for students to develop and grow, and supporting housing functions that reflect a residential environment embracing the University's values. Arthur previously worked at the Department of Housing and Residence Life at the University of Central Florida spending two years as a Graduate Assistant and two years as a Resident Assistant. While attending UCF, Arthur received a Bachelor of Science, Liberal Studies degree and a Masters of Education, Student Personnel Administration graduate degree. Arthur has a strong passion for working with students and helping them grow on their path to becoming successful members of society. Vince Applegate, Residential Life Coordinator (RLC)
University Village Apartments, Chaudoin, Emily, Conrad, Wellness House and Honors House
Vince Applegate is responsible for the overall management and day to day operations of the area listed above. This includes supervision of the Resident Assistant (RA) and Head Resident (HR) staff, maintaining an area for students to develop and grow, and supporting housing functions that lead to a residential environment which embraces the University's values. Vince received his BA in psychology from Indiana University where he was a Singing Hoosier and very involved in hall government. He completed his Master of Education in College Student Affairs at the University of South Florida in Tampa while serving as an academic advisor and Graduate Assistant for the University Experience course which aims to help First Year Students acclimate to the institution. Most recently, Vince worked as a Hall Director at the University of Portland a small school in Portland Oregon. Vince is passionate about leadership, social justice and helping students learn about living in community. Jeanette Cornier, Office Manager
Jeanette Cornier has been with Stetson University for the past 11 years. She first served as an Administrative Assistant with the Chair and Director of Undergraduate Studies in the Department of Teacher Education in Davis Hall. She now serves as the Office Manager of the Department of Housing and Residential Life. As Office Manager, Jeanette is responsible for managing day-to-day operations of the front office, managing the department budget, and assisting students who need a warm and friendly person to help them out. Jeanette has four wonderful children and two adorable grandchildren and currently resides in Deltona. Kevin Winchell, Assistant Director of Housing Operations
Kevin is responsible for managing room assignments and occupancy, coordinating facilities/maintenance needs, and managing the day-to-day operations of the Department. In addition to this, Kevin also supervises the Greek House Managers (GHMs) and works closely with Greek Life to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for our Greek students. Kevin graduated from Stetson in 2007 with degrees in Political Science and Philosophy, and is currently pursuing his Master's in Business Administration. Kevin has previously worked as a Resident Assistant, a Residence Hall Director, and later a Summer Conferences Manager. Ben Falter, Director of Housing & Residential Life
Ben is responsible for the overall direction and management of all aspects of the Housing & Residential Life department. He provides overall leadership and direction to a comprehensive residence hall program, which includes fiscal, operational, and programmatic management. Ben is also responsible for the overall supervision and guidance of the residence hall staff and programs. He directly supervises and supports the Residential Life Coordinators (RLC), Assistant Director, & Office Manager. Ben desires for students to be reflective of their out of classroom experiences, better understand themselves and others through lenses of social justice and encourages us all to be stewards of good sustainability. He obtained a Bachelor’s of Science from St. Vincent College and a Master's of Arts in Student Affairs in Higher Education at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
