Ways to Get Involved

The following is a list of ways you can remain active with University life and be a part of the Stetson experience long after graduation. Take a look, browse the website, and join the other alumni who are working to make a positive difference for the Stetson community!

  1. Let us know about your accomplishments after graduation! New job, a promotion, completion of a degree, marriage, addition of a new family member, etc.
  2. Encourage friends and classmates to attend Homecoming and their class reunions. November 8-10 is Homecoming 2013!
  3. Help future graduates by offering internships or mentoring opportunities at your place of work.
  4. Support Stetson University athletics. Attend and cheer loudly at games!
  5. Attend a Stetson University event in your area, and take a fellow Hatter with you.
  6. Host an alumni or admissions event in your area.
  7. Stay educated about Stetson University; share what you know with others.
  8. Register for Email for life, RSVP for events, update your information and join the Hatternet Online Community at stetson.edu/hatternet.
  9. Visit campus whenever possible.
  10. Wear Stetson University clothing and display something "Stetson" at work.
  11. Become a part of the Hatter Alumni Recruitment Team (H.A.R.T.) and volunteer to work a college fair or meet with high school guidance counselors. Email hart@stetson.edu to get started!
  12. Make sure we have your email address so that you can receive our electronic newsletter, H@tMail and invitations to events in your area.
  13. Keep your records up to date, so that we can send you invitations on events in your area.
  14. Write a letter of recommendation for a student applying to Stetson University.
  15. Attend and promote Stetson University activities.
  16. Read the Stetson University Magazine, and share it with a friend when finished.
  17. Contact a former professor and say thanks for his/her teaching and mentoring.
  18. Make an annual gift. Every gift, regardless of size, helps.
  19. Florida residents can "Drive with Pride" by buying a Stetson University specialty license plate.
  20. Become a fan of the Stetson University Alumni Association on Facebook.
