Britt McHenry

Britt McHenry graduated from Stetson University in 2007. She is a sports reporter who's worked for Fox Sports San Diego as a dugout reporter on the San Diego Padres telecasts, following a stint with WJLA-TV ABC 7 in Washington, D.C. and News Channel Eight as a sports reporter and fill-in anchor. After 2 weeks in San Diego she returned to Washington, D.C. and ABC 7. In March 2014, she left ABC 7 to join ESPN as its D.C.-based bureau reporter.

While at Stetson University, Britt majored in English and graduated magna cum laude. She chose Stetson University for its strong academics and competitive women's soccer team. Education was always a top priority for Britt. T. Wayne Bailey, Ph.D., was one of Britt's political science professors, and, seeing her potential, he selected her for the Washington Semester Program at American University. That is where Britt became interested in journalism, interning for ABC Network News.

After graduating early from Stetson University, Britt earned her master's degree from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. She has covered national sporting events, including Super Bowl XLII and the 2008 men's NCAA tournament in 2008.
