Jessica Clayton

Jessica Clayton grew up in DeLand. She attended a small private school through eighth grade before going on to graduate from DeLand High School with an associate of arts degree through the dual enrollment program. She then graduated with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and a minor in hospitality management from the University of Central Florida.

"I believe the best thing someone can do for themselves is to pursue an education. Not only does it set a student up for a bright future but it allows them to discover things about life and themselves that cannot be taught in a classroom. Even though I did not attend Stetson University, it is clear that their rigorous curriculum and nationally recognized community involvement creates well-rounded young-adults."
