In addition to the FAFSA, we recommend students also complete the CSS/Financial Aid Profile, available now on the CollegeBoard website.
Visit the Office of Financial Planning website for more information about applying for financial aid and other scholarships.

Where you spend your time when you're not in class is really important. That's why we give you a lot of options when it comes to living on campus.
As an incoming new student, be sure to complete your Housing Application and Living Agreement. You can explore housing options and access these forms through Housing Central online at the Housing and Residential Life website. Just use your Stetson University email username and the password to access Housing Central. Check your VIP Page or personal email for your Stetson email account information to log in to your account.
The University Residency Requirement pertains to all undergraduate students (incoming first year, transfer, and current students). All students must meet the established criteria before an exemption will be granted and students are allowed to live off campus. For more information regarding the Residency Requirement, review your Housing Application and Living Agreement or the Housing and Residential Life website.
In addition, if you plan to be a commuter student, you must complete the Residency Exemption Request and receive approval from the Department of Housing and Residential Life. You may access this form through Housing Central online at the Housing and Residential Life website.

Our health clinic operates just like your home primary care practice. Call your medical insurance company to be sure your visits will be covered. If you have a PPO policy, you'll want to find out if our providers are in-network or out-of-network. If you have an HMO policy, see if they have an exception for students attending college out of area. If not, you may need to consider changing your primary care provider or purchasing the student insurance plan. A list of our providers can be found on the Stetson Health Service website. Be aware that Medicaid from states outside of Florida and certain types of Florida Medicaid will only cover emergencies while you're here. Every policy is different, so it's important that you check with your insurance company to see what's covered before you arrive.
You can find information on student health insurance, availability, cost and coverage on the Stetson Health Service's campus student insurance page.
If you plan to live on campus, you'll need to select a meal plan. To do so, use the Meal Plan Sign-Up form, which is available on your My Stetson account. Please use your Stetson University email username and the password to complete this form. Check your VIP Page or email for your Stetson email account information to log in to your account. If you have been approved to live off campus and would like to discuss your meal plan options, please contact the Office of Admissions at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Your Hatter1card is your Stetson University identification card, activity card, debit card, meal card, library card and access card. Stetson University allows you to create your Hatter ID online by uploading a photo of your choice. You will also have the chance take a picture and pick up your Hatter1card at Hatter Saturday.
For you to officially attend classes at Stetson University, the Office of the Registrar will need an official copy of your final high school transcript, along with a final transcript for any courses, including dual enrollment courses taken at another institution.
Finally, if you have completed AP, IB and/or AICE examinations, we need those scores to be sent to the Office of Admissions, too. If you are receiving an IB Diploma, we require official notification.
You can send these documents to:
